Hi! I'm Bailey!

I grew up in Colorado and started going on weekly hikes as an undergraduate student at Colorado State University. After graduation I decided to thru hike the Colorado Trail, an undertaking that seriously changed my life. Ever since then I have spent as much time as humanly possible in the outdoors.

My time outside also led me to another passion: education. After finishing the Colorado Trail I decided to get a master's degree to become a secondary math and science teacher. I also began to write about my adventures and the gear I was using. 

Since then, I have hiked several thousand miles with my dogs and backpacked all over the country; however, I still love learning and strive to share my passion for the outdoors with others.
