This article for Bixbi dog food's Drool Magazine summed up my experience hiking from Canada to Mexico with my two dogs. Due to the length of this trip, it pushed me to become better at summarizing longer adventures.
I had the pleasure of writing a trip report for the very first issue of Trails Magazine. The report is on my original route from Cumbres Pass to Mountain Home, Wyoming across Colorado.
I am pleased to be working with Trail's Magazine to feature many of the amazing wilderness areas found in the United States. The goal of this ongoing series is to share how diverse and unique the landscapes of the US are in an effort to help readers connect with our public lands. Using my experience backpacking many popular and unknown trails, these features take advantage of a writing style that is both informative and captivating.
